San Juan River Quality Waters is located just below Navajo Dam and extends 4.25 miles. Known for its world-class trout fishing, Quality Waters is home to over 80,000 trout. It is ranked a U.S. top 10 fly fishing destination.
Navajo Lake is the second largest lake in New Mexico. It’s located in the counties of San Juan and Rio Arriba. Parts of the lake extend into Archuleta County in southern Colorado. Navajo Lake State Park offers over 200 camping and picnic sites, two boat ramps, and two marinas.
